Water Rate Study and Distribution System Assessment
LOCATION:Little Rock, AR
(Merger of Little Rock and North Little Rock Water Utility Systems); Little Rock/North Little Rock, AR; Consultant. Performed a cost of service water rate study including evaluation of the need for impact fees and an updating of its ancillary fees and charges. This includes establishing financial and service policies for the merged utility. An evaluation of each city’s distribution system is also being performed with the results being incorporated into the initial pricing structure for the merged utility operation. The goal is development of a unified rate structure equalized over a seven to ten year period.
