ALCOSAN Pollution Prevention Program Development
LOCATION:Pittsburgh, PA
KBC is currently working with ALCOSAN’S Environmental Compliance and Industrial Waste departments to develop and implement a pollution prevention program to incorporate into its Nine Minimum Controls. As part of this effort, KBC will research and create a library highlighting industry specific best management practices. To provide a comparative analysis, KBC developed a survey instrument based on extensive research of selected peer cities and CWA award winner’s pretreatment, outreach and educational programs. Recommendations will also be made to assist ALCOSAN with seminar, training development, literature updates, and website content evaluation.
